Misty Mountain Hop
Wherein a young man & his dogs go for a walk in the woods, and then proceed to tell you all about it—at least that's the plan.

A Long Walk In The Woods

Yesterday, I did the entire Black Mountain Crest Trail from Mount Mitchell to Bowlens Creek (plus 2.2 miles of connecting trails in Mt. Mitchell State Park), for a total of 26.2 miles. I'm not sure if anyone else had ever done this all in one day before—but I am fairly sure I won't do it again anytime soon. This may be the most physically demanding thing I've ever done. More later.
