Misty Mountain Hop
Wherein a young man & his dogs go for a walk in the woods, and then proceed to tell you all about it—at least that's the plan.

Long, Long, Long

Tired. So tired. I stayed up all night working on school assignments last night, only the second time I've needed to pull an all-nighter while attending community college. I have no opinion on world events, or indeed, on anything that doesn't involve pillows.

Music In My Head

  • Elton John — "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues"
  • Bob Marley — "Stir It Up"
  • Iggy Pop — "Lust for Life"
By the way, my brief sojourn in the Blue Ridge was excellent. We visited Brasstown Bald, highest point in Georgia (4784 ft), and Amicalola Falls, tallest waterfall in the eastern US (729 ft). I recommend both of those — and Georgia State Parks are extremely user-friendly places to car-camp!

Thanks especially to Salem, for showing us around his beautiful restaurant. I added a link to it (Jasper Family Steakhouse - though even a vegetarian can eat their yummy fill there) under "Friends in Business". If you're ever in or near north Georgia, check it out!
