Capsule:

Originally designed by BSQ Inc.'s weapons division to be a man portable anti-vehicle weapon the LVB-4 never quite met with the designers' expectations. Field tests of the weapon prove that it's lack of penetration on the heavier armored targets along with it's bulky design and power draw made it unsuitable for the consortium's original role and it fell into general disuse and the line was discontinued.

Several years later many of these weapons were handed down to 12th Consortium Rangers, a newly formed Special Forces unit, who welcomed them with open arms. After some serious modifications and over halls, the LVB-4(s) made its debut.

During the Crackkel uprising the LVB-4(s) earned itself it's nickname of "Saint 50". With 96% accuracy the snipers of the 12th Consortium Rangers relieved multiple suppressed Consortium units from ranges of up to 1.5km, a full 300m beyond operational tolerances. The ranger operatives, putting the credit solely on the performance of there weapons systems, generated an overall mystique in the weapon which lasts still to day.
