While attending UW-Oshkosh, I took three semesters of a printmaking class called Serigraphy...which
is an art term for "silkscreening." I knew nothing of the process and was quite intimidated by it at first...but it
turned out to be quite a rewarding experience. It was in these classes that I did some of my first experimental art,
and how I began working with hard edges...something inherent to the process...for it is done with stencils blocked out on
a fine mesh, in which ink is pushed through the screen and onto the paper below...one color at a time. The following
pieces are arranged chronologically ...roughly.
