Due to Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department regulations, only official volunteers are allowed to work on the trails in an unsupervised manner. If you have not signed up with the county as an official volunteer but are interested in helping, please contact Rob Stitt (rob@robstitt.com or 816-246-4051) for information on signing up. It really is pretty painless (a couple forms) and your help is always welcome!

Upcoming Work Days

There is no "major" workday at Blue River Parkway this year, but we will have small workdays from time to time (look for details later).
Our efforts on the existing trails will be focused on spot maintenance.

Ongoing Work

We occasionally have small, short-notice workdays to address minor issues when necessary and the conditions are appropriate. Notification of these impromptu events is typically done via email and/or a post on the Blue River Parkway forum in the EarthRiders message board (http://forums.earthriders.com).
