Thank you so much for stopping by at my very first knit-along. I created this felted bag pattern because I was unhappy with the purse I've been carrying for about a year now, and I couldn't find another knitted/felted bag pattern I wanted to use to replace my everyday bag. So far elle has filled this void in my life rather nicely. I hope you enjoy her too. need your help
Because I used some old stash yarn to make elle and belle, I don't know exactly how much of a store-bought yarn you might need to finish them. Therefore, I am offering a fantabulous prize for the first two people to knit up either version using Classic Elite's Inca Alpaca and RowanSpun DK (or any other storebought, currently available yarn). Start with the amounts suggested on the pattern and let me know how much you actually needed to finish elle or belle. The first person to do this with a storebought yarn gets their choice of either one of these:
