The National Sculpture Society,founded in 1893, is the oldest organization of professional sculptors in the United States.
The purpose of the NSS is to promote excellence in figurative and realist sculpture.
For the 71st Annual exhibition, 197 sculptors submitted 871 slides, of which only 35 were selected for inclusion in the
show. The lobby of the Park Avenue Atrium in midtown Manhattan provides a venue for the public to view some
of the best contemporary sculpture in this country. All exhibitions are open to the public free of charge.
Brookgreen Gardens
In addition, the award winning sculptures from the National Sculpture Society's show, traveled to a second show at Brookgreen
Gardens, America's oldest and most premier sculpture garden.
