fear of speaking in public is universal

even actors have stage fright:

In his biography, the renowned English actor Laurence Olivier

describes his enormous fear of performing in public.

But actors learn to use fear to

great advantage

By employing principles that transform it into liberating

and potent energy

So can you

Excel in making presentations to audiences of any size.

discover how to:

Differentiate between

Nervousness and tension

You will find that nervousness is helpful, but tension is not. It is

nervousness that makes you jump out of the way of a speeding

car. Nervousness = alertness. Tension keeps you glued to the

spot as the car speeds toward you. Tension = paralysis.

Rid yourself of paralyzing tension

Through physical relaxation exercises. There are several; some

long (taking twenty minutes) some short (taking five minutes).

The latter are particularly helpful as one goes about one’s

daily rounds. And through learning how to prepare mentally before

making a speech.

Use your helpful nerves

To full advantage

They are built into your system for excellent and beneficial

reasons. Through understanding why you will allow them to

assist you.

Confront and make friends

With your fear

You will discover that it is your best friend.

Increase your self-awareness

In positive ways

For instance, you will find that it is always best to face your

fear -most of all mid-speech!- and never to turn your back on it.

Become a dynamic and

expressive speaker

Through practicing some of the same exercises of the

imagination that actors use in preparing to play roles.

Gain mastery of yourself-

Therefore of your audience

You will have ample time to practice among a group of

encouraging people; and

enjoy giving excellent speeches
