I was born in Vietnam as the youngest of 4 children.  We immigrated to Manchester, England when I was 9 years old.  After that, we came to Fremont, California when I was 11.  I attended Mission San Jose High School for a short time before moving to Zephyrhills in Florida.  But I really missed California so I returned to attend U.C. Berkeley.  I could've met Brian during those years but fate had some other plans.  Then I went to UCSF for Dental School, followed by a General Dentistry Residency at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore.   Again, California beckoned and I returned to work with with one of my instructors at his practice in El Cerrito.  He eventually retired and I took over the practice.  I also worked part time at La Clinica de la Raza.  Then I met Brian through a series of circumstances, got married, and along came Luke.
