Rosewind Arabians was founded in Vacaville, CA in 1986 by Jim, Rosemary and Audrey Harris (Green). The ranch started
with a few select Arabian mares that were used for breeding and showing as well as the infamous San Krieztoff, Audrey's first
Arabian show gelding. As the years passed the name changed a few times as we became to be known also as Equine Muscle
Works and EMW Arabians. Several champion horses came out of the 5 acre backyard that was called Rosewind Arabians, including
San Krieztoff (*Morshan x Kchia of SC), Evening Princess(Port Bask x Evening Shade), Waczka (*Hagor x Miezectress of SC),
Sonny Hit The Spot (Sonny Valentino x Mazadi), Sukyeska (Llafitte x Suky), Lady Sid Heedra (Sidi Baha x Tioneet), and Ragtime
Gal (Ragtime Moonraker x Lady Sid Heedra) a beautiful Morab that was bred to be Brittney's horse.
Kids and horses was always the main theme at Rosewind Arabians with champion riders such as Nikki Davenport and Tammy
Collins as being two of the shining stars at the ranch. Now is time for Brittney and Amidala to shine on their own.
The Vacaville ranch was sold in June of 2002 and Audrey and the girls moved to Rio Linda, CA with Audrey's new partner
Tim Brewer. They found a nice home in town, yet continue to keep a few horses at a nearby stable for small breeding
ventures and pleasure. Since Audrey and Tim have been together, they started raising quality American Cocker Spaniels
and most recently Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Everything is done with an emphasis on fun and family.
Audrey, Tim, Brittney and Amidala also enjoy fishing and camping in their spare time and of course all of their critters!
