Dear Farmers and Friends,
Thanks to God and You we had good seed production in 2000 and sales for 2001.
Great News - Our prices for the 2002 crop have remained the same as 2001.
We have good seed production in the field which will give you the high quality seed you expect from us.
We are proud to announce that Ron "Lard" Bayles, from Bloomington, Illinois has joined us as District Field
Representative in Central Illinois. Lard is a good friend and long time associate. He was a DSM for us in the 1980's at Bear's.
Make a list of at least twelve things you have in your life to be thankful for, i.e. kids, grandkids, etc.,
and read it on discouraging days. It helps me.
Farm safe your family needs you!

To Our Customers and Friends,
It sure seems that most of us had a challenging year. We've either had too much water, no water, late planting,
and too early planting froze off. Just remember that 100 bushel corn might be terrible to some people, but others are thrilled
to death to get that much. Let's just remember to thank God for all we do have.
Moving on to 2003, my Family, Friends and Business Associates, but mostly my Granddaughters have convinced
me to move into the computer age. So, now I have an email address and will soon have a website. If I can learn how to turn
the computer on I'll be able to get your messages. I was just getting used to the mobile phone and now they want me to carry
a laptop, oh well.
I hope you all have a safe and prosperous 2003. Call me anytime I always enjoy hearing from you.
Farm safe your family needs you!
Your Fellow Farmer,
Bob Bray
