3) Their long nose makes it easy to grab for either a quick smooch on the head, or to remove their muzzles from somewhere it ought not to be.

Three Worst Things About Whippets

1) Worst Thieves Ever!--forget about leaving stuff out on counters, trash cans without secure lids, feminine supplies left in bathroom trash can, etc.  All will be either eaten or strewn about the house. Human undergarments are fun to strew around the house too!

2) House training a whippet can be a challenge especially in stormy weather.

3) Natural Born Killers and highly-competitive with other dogs--this can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you have them for, but you can't expect them not to have really strong prey drives no matter how you pamper them.  The prey drive of even the most foo-foo Whippet will at times rear itself in an unwelcomed fashion.
