BIOGRAPHY

Having come from the Chicago area where I studied fine art, I've been living in Colorado since 1977. I first moved to Fort Collins where I attended Colorado State University, earning a B.F.A. in Graphics in 1988. Between 1980 and 1996 I also accumulated 12 years of employment in the sculpture foundry industry centered in Loveland, Colorado.

Following the completion of my graphics degree, I added three years employment experience in various facets of graphics. This included an internship, graphic design, and trade work in the printing industry. In the last three years I have enhanced my graphic/art background tremendously with computer training and the purchase of a Mac system. Skills include Photoshop, Freehand, Illustrator, Quark, and web design software. The result has been my being able to become a freelance illustrator, painter, and designer.

My most notable achievements in the arts have been a national scholarship award from Hallmark and the University of Alabama, and a Bronze Award from The Art Directors Club of Denver.
