Why would you want to distribute brain Garden foods?
As a Brain Garden distributor you show your commitment to healthy eating
and being.
- You are able to introduce friends and associates to a variety of great
savings on healthy food (more will be available on February 1, 2005),
- sponsor other distributors to build a network of associates commited
to healthy living. Most people do this through personal contacts but
with the business services Brain Garden offers you are also able to
build a network of customers and distributors through the Internet,
as I do.
- You are able to receive substantial savings on your own orders (by
ordering an additional tasting pack of 20 or 40 servings (for $1 per
each serving) with each autoship of Food for Life that you order).
In March 2005 Brain Garden will unveil an infomercial at its convention
in Cabo San Lucas which will be aired on TV. Brain Garden invests a lot
of money in its marketing materials, so it should be very powerful. What
better time to become a distributor than now, ahead of all the publicity.
Also, many changes are being implemented in the compensation on 2/1/2005
that will make it easier for new distributors to begin earning substantial
incomes.
What you need to know to create independent income
Independent income is the ability to live from your
own personal resources. As an independent Brain Garden distributor, you
can invest in yourself and create independent income to make your dreams
come true. As you leverage your time and put the Compensation Plan to
work for you, you can earn more and more. Please feel free to contact
me, Dika Golovatchoff for specific questions about becoming a distributor.

Food First, Tastings, and Customer Enrollment
The Food First program is Brain Garden's way to give customers an experience
with primary nutrition. Your customers have three separate options to
choose from-Good, Better, Best-each giving them a way to add delicious,
affordable, and convenient whole foods to their lives.
The "Good" pack is a Food for Life pack, a 30-day supply of
food that helps the customer start making healthy additions to the food
they already eat. It sells for US$129.95
The "Better" pack is a Dynamic Food for Life
pack, which is the same as the "Good" pack, with a 30-day supply
of Dynamic Plus. It sells for US$149.95.
The "Best" pack is the full Food First experience.
The customer pays US$199 and receives a 10-day pack and a 30-day pack
of food at the same time. With the 10-day pack, we ask the customer to
eat only our foods and other whole foods, and drink nothing but water
for 10 days. Before the 10-day experience, the customer visits an on-line
preparation site where they learn more about neglect, primary nutrition,
and the Food First program. During their 10-day experience, we also ask
the customer to share their results with us through on-line journaling.
The 30-day pack gives the customer enough food to replace
one meal a day with primary nutrition, and continue building upon the
healthy habits they began during the 10-day program.
Tasting meetings are the primary way customers learn
about the Brain Garden and experience our food products. You invite friends
and acquaintances to tastings where they see how easy it is to prepare
the foods and can taste for themselves how delicious they are. In such
a comfortable, friendly atmosphere, they can easily see themselves eating
Brain Garden foods every day. With the help of a Food for Life magazine,
you also tell your guests about neglect, the importance of primary nutrition,
and how the Brain Garden can help them make healthy choices-the Good,
Better, and Best packs.
You can interest potential customers in Food First and
Food for Life in a tasting, with a 3-way call, at a booth, through a conference
call, or through mailing or giving out "The Answer: Primary Nutrition"
videos. You can also send out our new Brick & Mortar packs which will
be a "tasting for one" that you can send by mail to potential
customers. This pack will include a Food for Life magazine and a wide
variety of products so potential customers can taste for themselves what
Brain Garden has to offer.
A customer enrolls either through your pulseparty.com
website, or you enroll them through your Backroom, after they have signed
a form stating that they agree to the terms and conditions. This is a
critical step, as your customers must understand what they are committing
to.
The Front End:
Earn Weekly Commissions with Each New Customer
Before we give you the details, it's important that you understand two
very important items: PV and CV.
Personal Volume (PV). Volume from your own personal
purchases and retail sales during one volume month. Each rank has specific
Personal Volume amounts that must be met for monthly qualification. All
products sold have a PV value assigned.
Commissionable Volume (CV). Generational pay on your
downlines' sales is calculated on CV. Most products sold have a CV value
assigned.
Good, Better, Best
The "Best" pack pays higher commissions than the Better or Good
pack. And, once you qualify as a 1-, 2-, or 3-Star Food First Leader (explained
below), there are different bonuses you can receive depending on which
pack your customer buys. The following table gives you a quick guide to
what you can earn when enrolling new customers.
In the chart, "DSB" is short for direct sales bonus. When you
enroll a new Food First customer, you automatically earn the appropriate
direct sales bonus, either $50 or $75. Once you become a Qualified Food
First Leader, you can also earn Roll-Up bonus on your new personally enrolled
Food First customers, and new customers your distributors enroll (based
on your enroller tree). This is explained in further detail below.
As long as you have 100 PV on your Brain Garden account,
you can earn a direct sales bonus. We process and mail Food First bonuses
every Friday, and the bonus period is from Thursday to Wednesday; Wednesday
being two days prior to the Friday payday.
The "Best" pack has 200 PV and 0 CV; you've
already received a US$75 direct sales bonus. The "Good" and
"Better" pack both have 100 PV and 0 CV. The PV for all three
packs rolls up to you and helps you maintain your 100 PV qualification
for Direct Sales Bonuses and the 200 PV requirement so you can earn monthly
bonuses.
The Food First Leadership Program:
How to Maximize Your Earnings as a Leader
The job that gets done is the job that gets rewarded. With the Brain Garden,
you not only earn a bonus for every new Food First customer you enroll,
but you can also earn a bonus on the customers your distributors enroll.
1-Star Food First Leader
After qualifying, a 1-Star Food First Leader receives US$50 direct sales
bonus for every Good and Better pack they sell, and US$75 direct sales
bonus for each Best pack. A Qualified 1-Star Food First Leader also earns
a US$10 Roll-Up Bonus on their personally enrolled customers who order
the Good and Better pack, and $20 on each Best pack. This Roll-Up bonus
is paid the 15th of the following month. But that's just the beginning.
A Qualified 1-Star Food First Leader also receives US$10
Roll-Up Bonus for every new Food First customer in their downline who
buys a Good or Better Pack; and $20 on every new Best pack, based on the
enroller tree. If there are other Qualified 1-Star Food First Leaders
in your downline, you get the Roll-Up bonus for every new Food First customer
between yourself and the next Qualified 1-Star.
For example, Dave is a Qualified 1-Star Food First Leader.
In April, there were 20 new Food First customers in his downline, and
there are no other Qualified 1-Stars in his organization. To make it simple,
assume all 20 purchased the Best pack. That means Dave will get an extra
US$400 (20 x US$20) when bonuses process on May 15.
Here's another example. Jill becomes a Qualified 1-Star
Food First Leader in Dave's team. Between them, there are 10 new customers
(all with Best packs). Dave gets an extra US$200 (10 x US$20). Does Dave
mind that Jill is "preventing" him from getting all of the Roll-Up
Bonus? No, because she is a developing leader and is becoming self reliant
in "working" her own Brain Garden business. He is building back-end
commissions on Jill's business.
A 1-Star Food First Leader qualifies by:
Enrolling at least 5 new Food First customers each month, for 3 out of
4 months. (For example, if you have already enrolled 5 in January, you
just need to get 5 in February and 5 in March; or 5 in March and 5 in
April.)
After enrolling at least 5 new Food First customers each month, for 3
out of 4 months, maintain 2 shares in the Activity Pool each month.
Once qualified, you get your US$50 or US$75 direct sales bonus on a weekly
basis for those you personally enroll. Roll-Up Bonuses and Back-End Bonuses
will be processed on the 15th of the following month.
2-Star Food First Leader
After qualifying, a Qualified 2-Star Food First Leader receives US$70
for every Good and Better pack they sell. This is made up of a US$50 direct
sales bonus paid weekly and a US$20 Roll-Up Bonus paid the following month.
For every Best pack they sell, a 2-Star earns US$115-a US$75 direct sales
bonus, and a $40 Roll-Up Bonus.
In addition, a 2-Star also receives US$20 Roll-Up Bonus for every new
Food First customer in their downline who buys a Good or Better pack,
and $40 for every Best pack, based on the enroller tree. Remember, if
there are other Qualified 2-Stars in your organization, you get $20 or
$40 for every new Food First customer between yourself and other Qualified
2-Stars.
A 2-Star Food First Leader qualifies by:
Enrolling at least 15 new Food First customers in a month, for 3 out of
4 months. (For example, if you have already enrolled 15 in January, you
just need to get 15 in February and 15 in March; or 15 in March and 15
in April.)
After enrolling at least 15 new Food First customers each month, for 3
out of 4 months, maintain qualification by keeping 3 shares in the Activity
Pool.
3-Star Food First Leader
After qualifying, a 3-Star Food First Leader receives US$75 for every
Good or Better pack they sell-a US$50 direct sales bonus paid weekly and
a US$25 Roll-Up Bonus paid the following month. For every Best pack they
sell, a 3-Star earns US$125-a US$75 direct sales bonus, and a $50 Roll-Up
bonus.
In addition, a 3-Star also receives US$25 Roll-Up Bonus for every new
Food First customer in their downline who buys a Good or Better pack,
and $50 for every Best pack, based on the enroller tree. Remember, if
there are other Qualified 3-Stars in your organization, you get $25 or
$50 for every new Food First customer between yourself and other Qualified
3-Stars.
A 3-Star Food First Leader qualifies by:
Enrolling at least 20 new Food First customers in a month, for 3 out of
4 months. (For example, if you have already enrolled 20 in January, you
just need to get 20 in February and 20 in March; or 20 in March and 20
in April.)
After enrolling at least 20 new Food First customers each month, for 3
out of 4 months; or enrolling 45 new customers in one month, maintain
qualification by keeping 4 shares in the Activity Pool.
As a 3-Star Food First Leader, you will probably have several 1-Star Leaders
and a 2-Star Leader or two in your organization. You will earn an assortment
of bonuses on all their customers-US$5, US$10, US$15, US$25, US$40, US$50-depending
on where they fall.
If you fail to maintain the Activity Pool qualification
in a given month for your 1-, 2-, or 3-Star Food for Life leader status,
you are not paid the Roll-Up Bonus at that Food First Leader status. Instead,
the system will determine what Food First Leader status you qualify at
and will pay you accordingly. You are given a one-month "grace"
period. If you fail to maintain the Activity Pool qualification for two
months in a row, you lose that particular Food For Life Leader status
and must qualify again with 3 months of customer enrollments.
As an example, assume you are a Qualified 3-Star Food
for Life leader for the month of April; you are earning the $50 Roll-up
bonus as previously explained (assume "Best" packs only). Then
in May, you do not maintain the 4 shares in the Activity Pool, but instead
you have 3 shares in the Activity Pool. Three things happen:
You are not paid as a Qualified 3-Star Food for Life leader on those new
May customers.
Because you maintained the 2-Star status with 3 shares in the Activity
Pool, you will be paid on new May Customers as a 2-Star Food First Leader.
If you want to maintain your 3-Star Food First Leader status in the month
of June, you must attain the 4 shares in the Activity Pool in the month
of June. Otherwise you will need to qualify all over again for the 3-Star
Food First Leader status by enrolling the required customers for three
out of four months.
If you happen to only have 3 shares in the Activity Pool in the month
of June, then you do remain a 2-Star Food First Leader, but you must requalify
for the 3-Star Food First Leader position by enrolling the required customers
for three out of four months.
Accelerated Plan
If you are ready to grab the brass ring, you can become a 3-Star Food
First Leader in one month through the "accelerated" plan. Enroll
45 customers into Food First in one month and you will be a Qualified
3-Star Food First Leader, provided you have 4 Activity Pool shares the
following month.
As you are working to get qualified as a Food First Leader, you will continue
to earn the US$50 or US$75 direct sales bonus. That bonus is not going
away. Even if you never become a Food First Leader of any sort, you will
receive US$50 or US$75 for every new customer you bring into Food First
based on qualifications.
Qualifying as a Food First Leader
Here's an example of how you might qualify, month by month (for all examples,
assume "Best" packs):
In April, you enroll 17 new Food First customers. You earn US$1,275 (17
x US$75) in Direct Sales Bonuses. April also counts as the first month
of Food First Leader qualifying.
In May, you enroll 8 new Food First customers. You earn US$600 (8 x US$75)
in Direct Sales Bonuses. February counts as the second month of Food First
Leader qualifying. But, you are now on track to qualify as a 1-Star Food
First Leader, as you did not reach 15 new customers in February.
In June, you enroll 12 new Food First customers. You earn US$900 (12 x
US$75) in Direct Sales Bonuses. March counts as the third month of Food
First Leader qualifying.
In July, you have 3 shares in the Activity Pool. You are now qualified
as a 1-Star Food First Leader because you enrolled at least 5 new customers
in 3 out of 4 months. Every new customer you enroll in July will make
you $95, and every customer enrolled in your downline between you and
any other 1-Star Food First Leader, will make you US$20 "extra"
dollars.
In July, you enroll 9 new Food First customers. You therefore earn US$675
in Direct Sales Bonuses (9 x US$75). Remember, the Direct Sales Bonuses
are paid weekly. With the monthly check, you will also earn $180 (9 x
US$20) in Roll-Up Bonuses. In addition, your downline enrolls 15 new Food
First customers in July, and there is no other 1-Star below you. When
the July bonus checks are processed on August 15, you will earn US$300
(15 x US$20) from those downline customers.
The important thing to remember about the Roll-Up Bonus is that it is
based on your enroller tree. Let's say you are a Qualified 3-Star Food
First Leader, and that just one leg has enrolled 50 new Food First customers
(again, assume "Best" packs), and that 40 of them are between
you and a 1-Star Food First Leader. That means you get US$2,000 (40 x
US$50). For the other 10, the 1-star gets US$20 in Roll-Up Bonuses, and
you get US$30, or a total of US$300 (10 x US$30). And that's just one
leg! Every single enrolled leg will roll-up to you. How many are you enrolling?
That's how many legs this bonus will come through!
For Good and Better packs, these Food First Leader Roll
Up Bonuses are always US$25 per customer and that's what you, as a Qualified
3-Star, receive when no other Food First Leader is between you and the
customer. With Best packs, the Roll Up is always $50, which is what a
Qualified 3-Star Food First Leader receives. When there is another Qualified
Food First Leader between you and the customer you receive the "difference."
The Difference
As you advance to a Qualified 3-Star Food First Leader, and other distributors
in your downline enroller tree advance, remember "the difference"
this bonus will make. For example, as a Qualified 3-Star, you are entitled
to a Roll-Up Bonus of either US$25 or $50 for each customer that joins
in your enroller tree downline.
When other leaders in your group advance to a Qualified 2-Star Food First
Leader, they receive the Roll-Up Bonus on their downline customers and
you receive "the difference." For example, let's say you are
a Qualified 3-Star with a Qualified 2-Star below you. The 2-Star enrolls
a "Best" customer, and earns a Roll-Up of US$40 (out of the
possible US$50). You then receive the difference, US$10. Or let's say
the 2-Star enrolls a "Good" customer, with a possible Roll-Up
of $25. The 2-Star receives a $20 Roll-Up bonus and you receive $5. As
a Qualified 2-Star, they no longer need a lot of your help enrolling customers,
and yet you are still rewarded for helping them grow their business to
the next level.
Monthly Back-End Commissions
Understand "Generations" and "+"
for
Back-End Residual Income
The compensation plan table graphically demonstrates how the back end
of the comp plan pays you. There are just two things you need to focus
on: the "+" signs between percentage arrows and the word "generations."
If you understand those two things, you'll understand how the back end
of the plan pays out. Once you meet all the qualifications, you can earn
a lot of money.
For example, take a look at Team Leader on the Compensation Plan chart.
Beginning with the first level of your downline, the computer system searches
for your first Team Leader, going as far down as it needs to in each leg.
You get paid 3% on the volume of everyone between you down to and including
your first Team Leader (or higher), and another 3% on the volume of everyone
between your first Team Leader down to and including your second Team
Leader (or higher). Each of these groups is called a "generation."
With Food First, there will be a lot more volume in those generations
because the volume from customers' autoship orders roll up to the distributor
who enrolled them.
When you are a Captain you not only get the check for
Team Leaders, but you get two more checks as well! You even get paid a
second time on the same people! That's what the "+" is all about.
You get what you got as a Team Leader (3% of the volume of everyone between
you and down to and including your first Team Leader and another 3% on
everyone's volume between your first Team Leader down to and including
and your second Team Leader) plus three generations of Captain or higher.
That's 3% of three generations. Plus (there it is again) you begin taking
advantage of the Captain's Pool, which is your share of 3% of the company-wide
monthly Commissionable Volume (CV) from sales-a very nice addition to
your check, if you are qualified.
You can understand how Team Captain works using the
same idea. As you look at the table, you can see that fully qualified
All Stars earn at least seven checks: one for two Generations of Team
Leader or higher; one for three generations of Captain or higher; one
for four generations of Team Captain or higher; one for six generations
of All Star and one for the All Star Pool, one for the Activity Pool,
and one for the Food First Leader Roll-Up Bonus. Each column of percentages
and arrows means another check for you, don't hold back. Put the compensation
plan to work for you!
Qualifying for the Activity Pool
The Activity Pool is made up of 10% of all company-wide monthly Commissionable
Volume (CV) from sales. At its simplest, if you qualify for a share in
the Activity Pool in a month, you'll get a check on the 15th of the following
month. To qualify, you need to have 200 PV in the month, which would qualify
you as a Team Builder for monthly commissions. The best way to reach 200
PV is through your own efforts. One idea is to order two Food for Life
Packs. After all, you'll want one for your own needs to stay healthy and
one for tastings and samples so you can prequalify people for Food First
and Food for Life. You might consider a Food for Life autoship and adding
other products to it. As you use the products yourself, create your own
success stories and find exciting new ways to incorporate Pulse and our
other products into your life, you have a more powerful story to share
with customers and your downline.
Your second 100 PV could be personal care products including Hygiean Spa
and essential oils, items that can help ease customers through their 10-day
program. Not only can you introduce customers to the complete line of
products, you can cover your autoship costs by selling the items at retail.
There's another way to reach Double Partner: a 100 PV autoship for yourself
and one active customer with their own 100 PV autoship. Or you can do
no orders on your own and have two customers with 100 PV autoships each.
Every five personally enrolled distributors or customers
with Activity Pool-qualifying volume of 100 PV or more qualifies you for
a share in the Activity Pool. There's exciting potential there for people
who introduce a lot of new customers to the Food First program. NOTE:
The Good-Better-Best pack PV is NOT Activity Pool-qualifying volume. However,
the customer's first autoship [received in the month after signing up]
and subsequent autoships, would be.
Look at it this way. If you have two 100 PV autoships,
you only need five more distributors or customers with 100 PV each of
Activity Pool-qualifying volume to qualify for one share in the Activity
Pool. If you have a 100 PV autoship, you'll need six-one to qualify you
at 200 PV total and five to qualify for a share. If you don't have 100
PV on your own, you'll need seven. Food First can bring you a very large
number of customers, making it easy to qualify with customers alone! How
fast can you make those shares in the Activity Pool pay for an extra autoship?
Just think how easy it can be to get your business to fund itself just
by having a few customers. With the Activity Pool, how many customers
does it take for you to pay for everything you need? In addition to the
Activity Pool, there are Leadership Pools in each of the Top 3 compensation
levels.
All Star Pool, Team Captain Pool, and Captain
Pool Requirements
To qualify for a share in the All Star Pool, All Stars will need to meet
the generational requirements to achieve the All Star rank, and they must
also maintain 4 shares in the Activity Pool. To qualify for a share in
the Team Captain Pool, Team Captains will need to meet the generational
requirements to achieve the Team Captain rank, and they must maintain
3 shares in the Activity Pool. To qualify for a share in the Captain Pool,
Captains will need to meet the generational requirements to achieve the
Captain rank, and they must also maintain 2 shares in the Activity Pool.
If you are an All Star and have 3 Activity Pool shares, you will qualify
for a share in the Team Captain Pool, but not a share in the All Star
Pool. Similarly, if you are a Team Captain and have 2 shares in the Activity
Pool, you will qualify for a share in Captain Pool, but not a share in
the Team Captain Pool.
