| The Trails Grant Was Approved! |
St. John was just notified that we can receive up to $16,000 of Federal grant money through the Kansas Wildlife and Parks Department! This federal Trails Grant is provided by the Federal Highway Commission. Since the projected cost of our trail will be $20,000, our city will need to pay $4,000 for its share! Construction of our trail in our main park area should get started some time in April of this year. Construction of the trail on Brown Park hill should be completed this fall. |
