Kansas Wildlife & Parks presents grant money for Brown Park!

Linda Lanterman, the Kansas Wildlife & Parks Assistant Director, presents to Mayor Linda Welch a check for $4,500! The money is the result of our Recreation Grant application sent in last fall. It  will be used to help pay the cost of a new 12' tall spiral slipper slide that will be placed in a new play area in Brown Park! The money will also be used to purchase oak shavings for our three children's play areas in Brown Park! The oak covering will be one foot deep.
