One Software Engineer
Stressed, drifting from work, to Wendy's, to home. Then I found
The Blonde in My Life, a registered Belgian Draft horse, Kat.
Working with Kat and learning about workhorse training has helped
me understand about disclipline (and 'horseplay'). Kat has brought some
good people into my life:
-
Tanya Meyer, neighbor, instructor, and trainer.
-
Mark Fink, DVM 602-540-5044
-
Frank & Vickie Pitts, Pusch Ridge Stables, Tucson, AZ -- sold me Pusch
Views Katherin.
-
Several tack and feed stores in Phoenix -- L&L Equine, Stockman Feeds.
-
Farriers Gary Talmachoff, Tina Knicker, Dave Pearce
-
Editors Lynn Miller (SFJ) and Maury Telleen (DHJ)
-
ADCS Pres. Vicky English

Draft Horses
Since the 1960's, according to
The Draft Horse Primer, the number and use of Draft Horses bred and
used in the United States has been growing.
In the last three years I have learned something of draft horses
and current resources: Draft horse books, harness, auctions and catalogs.
Here is part of what I found.
