Christopher Kavi Carbone Christopher is a Certified & Registered Music Together teacher, serving as Director of "Music Together of Newport County", bringing music and movement experiences to families with children from newborns to age 5. Christopher is a Musician, Storyteller, Teaching Artist, Yoga/Meditation instructor, & Wholistic Health Counselor, known for bringing a positive and gentle spirit into his work with all ages: from newborns to ninety-something's. With an M.A. in Theater & Performance Studies from N.Y.U.'s Tisch School of the Arts, and with years of training and working professionally in the fields of theater, music, and expressive arts, he is committed to helping people transform their lives through creative expression and self-awareness. *** In addition, he offers other programs through the organization: "Arts-in-Celebration!", including Storytelling, Music, and Yoga events, for Schools, Festivals and Communities around Rhode Island and Southern New England. Christopher also serves  as  Program Coordinator and Faculty Member of Salve Regina University's programs in the Expressive Arts, providing training for professionals using the arts for healing and transformation. May Morris May Morris is back and is teaching again with us in Newport! ************** May Morris is a Registered Music Together teacher. We're lucky to have her here: she had taught Music Together for several years with us before she moved out west for other life/work experience. Since then, she's moved back to the Newport area,  and we're delighted to have her teaching again.  May also works as an OT (occupational therapist) with families and young children, and she brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and good-heartedness to our program!

Katherine Carbone Katherine serves as Assistant Director of "Music Together of Newport County", focusing on much of the "behind the scenes" work that is so essential to the program. *** In addition, Katherine is a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Certified Yoga of the Heart Teacher , Certified Dance Meditation Instructor, Certified Pre-Natal Yoga instructor, and Energy Healing Reiki Master. In her own work, she integrates modalities of Spiritual Dance, Energy Healing, Yoga and Expressive Arts to guide others on the path to deeper inner awareness and self transformation. She creates a safe and nurturing environment where all participants feel free to celebrate their creativity. In addition to her regular programs, she is offering specialty programs in Pre-Natal Yoga for moms-to-be.

We love being involved in the "Music Together of Newport County" experience. The Carbone's are also involved together in leading "Arts-in-Celebration!," featuring programs for all ages in the creative and healing arts. In addition, they are co-founders of "Present Moment Arts Center," a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing healing arts programs to the community.
