Bio:
Christopher Kavi Carbone, has been working as a storyteller, actor, musician & teaching artist for many years.
Known for his heartfelt messages and original style, he is a Graduate of N.Y.U.'s Tisch School of the Arts, earning his
M.A. in Theater and Performance. During his years in New York City, he performed & taught, solo and with troupes, in
a variety of venues including: the Bronx Zoo, the New York Renaissance Faire, the New York Children's Museum, and numerous
theaters, libraries, and schools throughout the region.
Christopher is delighted to be back in New England with his wife Katherine Carbone, teaching and seeking to inspire children
and their families in various ways. Currently, he is enjoying his involvement in local communities. Performance events
around the region have included: the Jonnycake Storytelling Festival, the R.I. Storytelling Festival, the Connecticut Storytelling
Festival, READBoston Storymobile, and the State Libraries Summer Reading Program.
In addition, he is Director of "Arts-in-Celebration", "Music Together of Newport County" and "Present
Moment Arts Center", offering positive experiences for adults, children and families in the creative and healing arts.
He also serves on the faculty of Salve Regina University's Programs in the Expressive Arts, training professionals all
around the region.
