Minutes of February 28, 2006 Meeting

Meeting convened at 6PM. 

Sub-Committee members present were: Barbara Pendergrass, Erica Peng, Wendi Gosliner.

SHORT DISCUSSION ITEMS:

SD1:  Development guidelines and standards: Sub-Committee will compile land use and planning guidelines in use by other earby unincorporated areas and cities similar in size and character to El Sobrante, such as Kensington, Rodeo, and Orinda.  Sub-Committee will compile overarching principles and guidelines already developed through past community processes (94803 Task Force committees, the Charette, etc.) and seek more input from community.  Sub-Committee will request staff from the County Community Development Department to attend March 28th Sub-Committee meeting to present current guidelines the County uses for evaluating development applications in El Sobrante.

SD2:  Fundraising:  Sub-Committee members agreed this is part of a greater Municipal Advisory Council fundraising effort and will request the greater MAC consider a fundraising plan.
