44. Margaret Miller6 Crawford (Pauline5 Willerford, William Thomas4, John Henry3 Williford, Alfred2, Green1) was born in Unknown August 3, 1917. Margaret died July 30, 1958 in Great Bend, KS, at 40 years of age.

She married Melvin Ray Boyd in Lubbock, TX, October 20, 1943. Melvin was born September 11, 1915 in Slina, KS. Melvin was the son of Walter Boyd and Hattie Miller. Melvin died in Great Bend, KS. At 39 years of age Melvin became the father of Walter Ray Boyd in Wyoming, (adopted), December 5, 1954.

A census listed Margaret as head of household in Miami, DADE, FL, April 8, 1930. At 37 years of age Margaret became the mother of Walter Ray Boyd in Wyoming, (adopted), December 5, 1954.

While serving in the military during WWII, Margaret met and married Melvin Ray Boyd. After the war her sister, Doris, married Melvin's brother, Elmer. By shear coincidence their younger sister Helen also married a Boyd, but from an apparently unrelated line.

Margaret moved with her husband back to his hometown of Great Bend, KS following the war. There she lived a simple rural life. Unable to have children, the couple adopted a young boy named, Walter. Tragically, Margaret died from a stroke and nearly a year later Melvin died in a car accident when Walter was a child. The boy was adopted by another family and lost contact with his Boyd line.

Margaret Miller Crawford and Melvin Ray Boyd had the following child:
