Resume

An online resume can be a convenient and cost efficient way to show your presence to potential employers. With the many Job Search sites on the internet, you may apply for a job using email. Once you've produced your Resume online, it's as simple as typing an address to send it along with your email.

The Resume package includes the following:

  1. 1 page
  2. 750 words of text
  3. your personal photo
  4. 24 bulleted items
  5. an email link
  6. and your choice of stationary designs

Flier

Flier

An online flier is a minimally sized page that is used to advertise specials, or to generate interest in your company. Once your flier has been completed the first time, updates can be made as often as your specials change, without the cost of reprinting and redistribution. A Flier can be used to advertise special events, sales or your business history.

The Flier package includes the following:

  1. 1 page
  2. your company logo
  3. unlimited text
  4. 3 graphics or photos (these could be star bursts advertising prices or even photos of items for sale)
  5. a background image
  6. a divider image which is used to separate page sections (may be used multiple times)
  7. a hits counter which will record and display the number of visitors that have come to your page
  8. an email link

Brochure

A brochure is similar to a flier but it contains 2 pages as well as room for additional content.

The Brochure package includes the following:

  1. 2 pages
  2. unlimited text
  3. 10 text links, which are words that can be clicked on to take the viewer to another site, another page, or another place within the existing page.
  4. 2 hits counters to display the number of visitors that view each page of your brochure
  5. 1 divider image which is used to separate page sections (may be used multiple times)
  6. your company logo (may be used multiple times)
  7. 5 graphic images
  8. a background image
  9. 2 custom designed buttons to navigate between your 2 pages

Mini-site

Mini-site

You have plenty of room to be creative with a mini-site. Either use all of your pages for content or one of your pages for thumbnail of product categories that will expand to full pages of product images.

The Mini-site package includes the following:

  1. 5 pages
  2. unlimited text
  3. 30 text links, which are words that can be clicked on to take the viewer to another site, another page, or another place within the existing page.
  4. 1 logo for your entrance page
  5. 20 graphic images
  6. a background image
  7. 5 custom designed buttons to navigate between your 5 pages
  8. 1 divider image which is used to separate page sections (may be used multiple times)
  9. 1 bullet choice (may be used multiple times)
  10. an email link

Free form

With a Free form website, you design the package. Below is an itemized list of the components available within a website designed by Boomerang, along with the cost for each individual item. If you have any questions regarding this list, please feel free to email me.
Pages (basic coding)$12.50 ea.
Basic coding consists of writing the introductory HTML for each page. Each page that is created must contain certain programming items in order to make it viewable on the WWW.
Pages (coded for search engine submission)$25.00 ea.
Pages that are going to be submitted to a search engine require added hidden elements, such as keywords and descriptions that the search engines use to index the page
Text (submitted)$6.25 per page
Submitted text consists of text that is typed in either an email, an email attachment or on a removable media (floppy disk, cd rom) that is sent through the post office) that I can copy and paste from.
Text (typing)$12.50 per 750 words
When you submit your text through the postal mail, and it is not in electronic form, this means that I will need to type it into the computer.
Links (coding)$0.85 ea.
A link is an amount of text, that when clicked it will load another web address. For each link there is a small amount of coding that is necessary in order to direct the link to the appropriate location.
Images (optimizing and coding)$4.16 ea.
When you submit an electronic image to me, I will still need to optimize it in order for it to be the correct size for the internet, as well as the smallest file size in order to insure fast loading. I request that all images are sent to me in full size with no compression so that I may compress them according to the needs of the entire site
Images (creation)$25/hr
If there is a special image that you would like to have "made from scratch", I am more than happy to do it. The cost is on an hourly basis
Background (creation)$25/hr
A background is an image that is used to tile behind your web page. It is very similar to the wallpaper you use on your desktop of your computer. If you have a specific need for a background and I do not have an image on file, I will be happy to create it for you. This is also done on an hourly basis.
Background (existing)$2.00 ea.
If I do have an image on file, I'm more than happy to allow you to use it on your website. The fee is for the coding and uploading only.
Background (submitted - optimized for web use)$4.16 ea.
If you have something that you would like to use as a background, and you have it already in electronic form (.jpg .bmp .pcx .tif) you may submit it to me. I will need to assure that it is usable for a background, since on the internet smaller images are tiled side by side to make the appearance of 1 large image. I will also need to adjust the colors in order to assure that text that is placed upon it is legible and easily viewed.
Upload time$25/hr
Uploading means sending the data that will create your website, to the WWW. When you send an attachment with an email you are uploading. When I receive it and transfer it to my computer I am downloading it. Upload time depends upon the speed of my internet connection (which is generally very good) and the abilities of the computer that I am sending it to. $25/hr is the price I use to begin calculations. Generally, a 10 page site with no overly large graphics will take about 30 minutes of upload time. It varies from site to site.
Guestbook (coding and testing)$25.00
The only guestbooks that I currently offer are those which are hosted on another website. What this means is that all of your data will be stored on another computer, and that particular server will be in control of the programming and the wear and tear on the server. There is a fee, although because I must create a new account, insert and modify the code that is needed to make the guest book functional on your site, as well as testing and first time maintenance.
Counter (coding and testing)$5.00
Counters are handled the same way that guestbooks are (see above).
Domain Setup and Registration$25/hr

Lists$12.50 ea.
A list consists of a group of bullet pointed items, such as can be found above in the pre-priced packages.
Image maps (coding)$25.00
An image map is a image, graphic, or piece of artwork that when clicked in certain (defined) areas works as a link to another site, another page, or another area on the existing page. For an example of an image map, Visit the Simply-Mad website found in the portfolio section. These require additional coding to designate areas of the image using horizontal and vertical pixel locations. There will still be an additional fee for the optimization and coding of the image of $4.16. This does not include the price of creating a custom created image.
Tables (coding)$10.00
Tables....what are tables? What you are reading now, is a table. It is like a grid that can be invisible or visible that is used to display categorized data in an orderly form.
Forms$25/hr
Forms are areas on a website that allows the visitor to input information and the press a submit button which will send the data back to you. This is priced on an hourly basis, because some web space providers already have the programming on their servers for me to work with and some do not. For those that do not, I treat forms in the same way that I do guestbooks and counters. (see above)
Search Engine Submission$10.00 ea.
