From the Jordan Middle School Einstein Problem Sets.

Answer available January 19, next puzzle.

Answer to math puzzle of January 5:

Algebra: The number of days in a non-leap year, 365, is special because it is the sum of 3 squares. What are they?

From the Jordan Middle School Einstein Problem Sets.

Solution: Easy, because there are 4 combinations!
182 + 52 + 42 = 324 + 25 + 16   or
162 + 102 + 32 = 256 + 100 + 9  or
142 + 122 + 52 = 196 + 144 + 25 or
122 + 112 + 102 = 144 + 121 + 100 which is, remarkably, the sum of three consecutive squares!
