Bill Brady hails from Dundee, an industrial town and deep sea port on the east coast of Scotland just across the River Tay from St Andrews. He spent 15 years in the British Army before moving to California in 1976. For the last 3 of those years, Bill worked as an engineering liasson between the Ministry of Defence on product development and maintainence, with the Rover, British Leyland and Rolls Royce companies. It was in this position that he first visited California and he soon decided that he wanted to move here. His first experience in the USA was at a small shop in West Los Angeles before moving to Hollywood Sport Cars and then Beverly Hills Rolls Royce. Now, familiar with modern products he rented space in Burbank before moving all the way across the valley to larger premises with Windsor Park Motors on the boulevard in Tarzana. In 1980 he purchased a business in Winnetka and Bonnet to Boot was established. The next move was in 1995 to Reseda, then in 2005, back to the current location on the boulevard in Encino.

When we started, we were working on classic cars, we are still working on some of the same cars today, some thirty years later.
Along the way of course we have always serviced the current models of most British manufacturers, particularly Rolls Royce/Bentley and Jaguar. Bills experience with Rover products in the UK made for a perfect fit when the Range Rover was introduced in the 80's. In keeping with Bills need to keep abreast of new technology the shop is equipped with the current computerized diagnostic equipment to fully service Rolls Royce through 2002 and Jaguar, Rover and Bentley through the current models. We have a wealth of experience with all british products post 1947. Breaking a way a little we also like and service Americam classics. We also stock a very large inventory of hard to find parts for many models from Aston Martin to Wolesley. We will use this site to provide the background for our business and explain the goods or services we have to offer. Including the sale of new and good used parts and cars. Additionally, we will add links to sites to which many of you will have an interest. Hopefully, the site will give customers the information they want at a glance. We will also offer a free self help service for those with simple questions, and for a reasonable fee, more complex assistance. We also have a special tool rental system and have virtually all Jaguar and Rolls special tools.Thank You, Bill.
