A note about this article. This one is strongly worded, but was one I had written for teaching a group
of people who had been strongly influenced by religious tradition.
Don't take it personally.

The FATHER forsook the SON?
Did God forsake Jesus in his hour of greatest need? Hear Jesus' words!
Jn 8:28 "Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do
nothing of myself; BUT AS MY FATHER HATH TAUGHT ME, I SPEAK THESE THINGS. 29) And
he that sent me is with me: THE FATHER HATH NOT LEFT ME ALONE;
for I do always those things that please him. Jn 16:32 - Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered,
every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: AND YET I AM NOT ALONE, BECAUSE THE FATHER IS WITH ME."
Who then is mistaken? Is it Jesus or the PRECEPTS of man? The same Isaiah who prophesied these precepts said by the WORD
in Isaiah 49:14-15
14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, THEY MAY FORGET,
yet will I not forget thee.
Beloved, do you realize that five times in each of the Testaments that God said "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee"?
Use your Strong's and look them up! (Deu 31:6, Joshua 1:5, 1Kg 8:57, 1Chron 28:20, Heb 1:5)
Yet we are told by so-called "scripture lawyers" (the modern day Pharisees) that God cannot look on sin. How then did he
walk and talk with Cain? How could he say then in Gen 6:5 "And GOD SAW that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." How could he enter into Sodom? Why did
he say to Moses (Ex 32) that "I have SEEN the iniquity of this people, now let me alone that I may kill them and I will make
of you a great nation". Why did he send Jonah to Nineveh?
Why did he tell Isaiah (ch 59) he SAW? Jeremiah (23:14-17)? Ezekiel (virtually the entire book)? David in the Psalms? Do
you believe He doesn't see your sin? Of course he does. If you don't then you need to study God's WORD.
We could continue this for many pages, but let this thought conclude with Isa 29:10 "For the LORD hath poured out upon
you the spirit of deep sleep and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered." Also Isa
29:13-14 "Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but
have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the PRECEPT of men: (14) "Therefore, behold, I
will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise
men shall perish, and the under standing of their prudent men shall be hid.
So much, then for the promise given in the first Testament. We now look at the fulfillment of the promise. What did Jesus
say? Was he so afraid of fulfilling prophecy he was worried about giving up His flesh life? Did he dread having to suffer
a horrible death? Don't you read the Word with understanding? Are you blinded too?
Now, many times in the Gospels Jesus told of his coming death. (Matt 16:21, 17:9,22-23, 26:2; Mark 8:31, 9:31, 10:45; Luke
9:22, 18:31-33, 22:37; Certainly if this were the "cup" he dreaded to partake of, he had ample opportunity to alter it if
he wished. No beloved, the "CUP" of Jn 18:11 and Luke 22:42 that He wished to avoid or prolong was the one His prophets said
that he must pour out without mixture in Rev 14:10. This is what Peter (he was there) meant in 2Pet 3:9 "The Lord is not slack
concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should PERISH,
but that all should come to repentance." Since the time Christ paid the price on that old cross the die is cast. Hence, His
return will be in judgement, and he will have to decree a second death for many of his children. He will then quote the remainder
of the verse he started in Luke 4:18-19. (See Isa 61:1-2). See this fulfilled in Rev 6:17. This "CUP of judgement" is the
one he is not looking forward to. Why? Would you like to kill your children's soul? Well neither does our Father.
Paul tells us why Jesus had to die in Heb 2:14 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also
himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the
devil; Also in Hebrews 9:15-17 the WORD is
15) And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions
that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16) For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17) For a testament is of force
after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. (KJV)
But what about Christ's words on the cross? He said "My God My God why have you forsaken me". NO!, BELOVED HE DID NOT!
He said "Eloi, Eloi lama Sabachthani". Pure Hebrew except for one Aramaic verb. Have you never wondered why it had to be interpreted
by Mark and Matthew? Why would Christ speak in a different language than he had used his entire ministry? It was misunderstood
at the time of it's utterance, and by those today who follow man's spirit. Note that in Matt 27:47 those who stood by thought
he was calling for Elias.
Have you never read David's prophecy in Psalms 22? David wrote in Hebrew, you know. For those who will read Ps 22, you
will see all stanzas of this Psalm fullfilled in Christs seven statements from the cross given in parts in all four of the
Gospel accounts of the crucifixion. Even down to gambling for his clothes and the words of the Jewish high priest. The last
part of the last sentence in Ps 22 is "that He hath done this." This is the
Hebrew equivalent of the English "It is finished". (John 19:30)
Have you ever marvelled about the Salvation of the malefactor? Perhaps even he as a young lad had been taught this Psalm
in pharisee-school and when he heard it quoted and coming to pass before his pain-filled eyes, he knew Jesus was Messiah!
O WHAT A SAVIOR!! O HALLELUJAH!
Hence, it is absolutely without basis in scriptural context that such tripe as "GOD FORSOOK HIS SON" is taught today. If
the passages quoted above jolt your understanding, then study GOD'S WORD, for the very same "scripture lawyers" who propagate
this lie have many more. Believe that there is much more to God's WORD than you have heard from man. Beloved, know that none
of these "scripture lawyers" are going to stand in your stead at the Judgement Seat. We have only one such Advocate, even
Christ himself. Christ is the living WORD, yet if we accept that he was forsaken by God for even a second, how can we believe
that WE won't be forsaken in the instant WE are to be judged? These who teach this are robbing us of our blessed hope. Does
not the WORD say by his own mouth in John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."? Does God then forsake God?
Is the Elohim confused? The WORD speaks also by Paul in Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and
for ever." Does not this include the time spent on the cross? No wonder that Christ spoke Matt 7:22-23 "Many will say to me
in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (KJV)"
What is truth? Beloved, if you have a Bible you hold it in your hand! It is truly amazing that the WORD is so confusing
to most that they buy millions of copies of paperback "gospels" each year, and spend their tithe money for special "bible
studies" which have a "different theme" for each book of GOD'S WORD. You know - Peter for predestination, James for the awfulness
of sin, Thessalonians for flying away, etc.
The "scripture lawyers" say God cares so much for them that they will be spared from the tribulation of antichrist, and
fly away like little butterflies. They say "You don't have to understand or worry about the book of Revelation - we won't
be here." Just remember that such are the words of man, and are not found within God's WORD. The very word "revelation" in
any language means "to reveal, or make known". If you don't accept this now, believe it when you see the "one world peace
system" or "new world order" come to pass. He promises you will see it in THIS generation.
According to the 'rapture theory' you should be gone before they have their one world "peace" system! Unless you die a
natural death God's WORD guarantees you won't. Recall the words of Paul in 1 Thess 5:3 "For when they shall say, Peace and
safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not
escape." Paul says concerning this time (Ephesians chapter 6) that we are to STAND in the evil day with the Gospel Armor
on and in place.
Beloved if you read this chapter, you will not find listed among the Gospel Armor such things as wings or a jet pack for
making our escape!
BELOVED,COME OUT OF BABYLON! Have you never observed that such teaching of lies occurs in lectures or 'sermons' with reference
to a verse or two of scripture and followed by 30 minutes of hot air? They make no effort to try a thought with the context
of God's plan given in all books of both testaments, and which we know can never be contradictory. If one accepts the inerrancy
of the WORD, (or believes) and the guidance of the COMFORTER, (not man), one can spot the lies, and TEST those things which
just don't sound right.
None are so blind as those whom God has blinded. I leave you by quoting Isaiah 34:16:
Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath
commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. (KJV)
If these words have cut you, then the HOLY SPIRIT is speaking. Listen to the still small voice!
