Alsobrook is found listed without named parents in an Ancestral File submitted by GLORIA DAWN HANKS GALLOWAY of West 29th in Orem Utah. It lists marriage and children. According to Martha Bloodworth, "I have Ann Alsobrook as marrying Lewis Galloway a Methodist minister. I have their children listed as: Lewis Galloway, Jr., Georgia Galloway, Janie Galloway, Frank Galloway, Jesse Galloway, and Ella Galloway I really believe I got all of this info from my grandparents. I remember sitting down with them and going through pictures and writing everything down. My mom said I would be so happy I did that one day." According to Ann Alsobrooks petition to sale land in 1867 for the sake of her children, Ann's middle name is Eliza.

Ann Eliza Alsobrook and George Lewis-Louis Galloway had the following children:

child 7 i. Mary Albert3 Galloway was born in Louisiana July, 1875. Referred to FamilySearch Ancestral File 7105234 provided by Gloria Dawn Hanks Galloway of Orem, Utah for the month and year. The reason she has a male sounding middle name is because she was given her mother's maiden name as her middle name. Obviously she was the first born and they were not sure there'd ever be any boys.

child 8 ii. Georgia Ann Galloway was born in Lake Charles, Calcasieu, LA January 29, 1877. Georgia died May 8, 1970 at 93 years of age. She married Joseph Golden McKinley April 21, 1916. Joseph was born in Lake Charles, Calcasieu, LA Before 1873. Joseph died July 20, 1964 at 91 years of age.

child 9 iii. Jane A. Galloway was born in Arkansas June, 1880. Called "Janie".

child 10 iv. Louis T. Galloway was born in Arkansas February, 1882. According to Martha Bloodworth, the spelling is Lewis.

child 11 v. Charlie E. Galloway was born in Arkansas May 1884.

child 12 vi. William Frank Galloway was born in Arkansas March, 1886. He married Minnie Bukley in Pike County, Arkansas, March 30, 1913. From Book D p. 363: GALLOWAY, W. FRANK, 27, PIKE, BUKLEY, MINNIE, 20, PIKE, White on 03-30-1913. F may stand for Frank, which would be the Frank Galloway, Martha Bloodworth has on her list, whereas the name William is missing. In fact, F may stand for Franklin, his grandfather's name. If this William Frank Galloway had a son named William Frank Galloway, who married Margaret Mary Brown, I have that William Frank's information ready to go in my files.

child 13 vii. Susan E Galloway was born in Arkansas May, 1889. Could the E stand for Ella and this be the Ella that Martha Bloodworth had on her list? Also, could Susan be named after her aunt? I received this reply from Robert Sage, also researching the Snow family (found his name on the Dyer Website's Query Page and wrote to ask if the Susan he was asking about had a sister named Ann). He replies: "Yes my Susan b.1841 had a sister named Ann who was probably the oldest. her father was Solomon Snow and her mother was Susan Mitchell b.1810. She had a sister who in 1850 was 13. I have much info on the family as Susan was the 3rd wife of my ggrandfather Thomas Jefferson Sage. Solomon the father was a very interesting person who scammed many people." (What fun if this guy is truly is Ralph's grandfather.)

child 14 viii. Jesse Galloway was born in Arkansas June, 1891. He married Bessie Covington in Pike County, Arkansas, September 14, 1920. From Book F p.166 : GALLOWAY, JESS, 28, PIKE COVINGTON, BESSIE, 25, PIKE White on 09-14-1920.
