32. Exa Maedell⁴ Alsobrook (Robert Lee³, Ralph Capers², William M. or S.¹) was born Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas May 6, 1916. According to information from Elsie, Exa's sister, Exa was born in 1915 but Jane Morrow Goodgame, Exa's daughter says the year 1916 given by the SSDI is correct. Exa died April, 1982 Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, at 65 years of age. SSDI gives death date as April, 1982 and Jane Morrow Goodgame writes that the death was just before her 65th birthday.

She married Eugene Lester Morrow in Sulphur Springs, Texas, August 20, 1931. Elsie states that Exa was married in Mt. Vernon, Texas but Jane Morrow Goodgame, Exa's daughter, places the wedding in Sulphur Springs.

Eugene was born Texas April 24, 1910. Eugene was the son of Charles "Charlie" Marion Morrow and Cora Alice Richardson. Eugene died January 23, 1985 Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, at 74 years of age. At 23 years of age Eugene became the father of Mirion Eldean Morrow Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, January 25, 1934. At 23 years of age Eugene became the father of Weldon Eugene Morrow in Sulphur Springs, Texas, January 26, 1934. Elsie says birth place is Sulphur Springs and Jane Goodgame thinks Mt. Pleasant.

At 27 years of age Eugene became the father of Edith Jane "Janie" Morrow Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, September 15, 1937. Occupation: Farmer and laborer.

At 17 years of age Exa became the mother of Mirion Eldean Morrow Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, January 25, 1934. At 17 years of age Exa became the mother of Weldon Eugene Morrow in Sulphur Springs, Texas, January 26, 1934. Elsie says birth place is Sulphur Springs and Jane Goodgame thinks Mt. Pleasant.

At 21 years of age Exa became the mother of Edith Jane "Janie" Morrow Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, September 15, 1937. Occupation: Housewife and a licensed practical nurse. Gladys remembers it as Maydale not Maybelle. Elsie has it as MayDell. Jane, Exa's daughter, spells it Maedell. And Martha Bloodworth got it from her mother as Madell. Jane explains that Exa and Lester made the trip to California, too, in 1947 with the three children along. She thinks they stayed until about 1964, basing that date on a visit they made home from Germany on July 4, 1964 at which time Exa and Lester lived at Lake Dallas.

Exa Maedell Alsobrook and Eugene Lester Morrow had the following children:

+ 85 i. Mirion Eldean⁵ Morrow was born January 25, 1934.

+ 86 ii. Weldon Eugene Morrow was born January 26, 1934.

87 iii. Edith Jane "Janie" Morrow was born Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas September 15, 1937. She married three times. She married Jesse Rickardo Hall in Reno, Nevada, June 2, 1955. Jesse died 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Retired military. Died of cancer.

Jesse was divorced from Edith Jane "Janie" Morrow November 1970. She married Almie Edward Smith August 11, 1984. Almie was divorced from Edith Jane "Janie" Morrow 1986. Worked for the telephone Company.

She married Joseph Nunely Goodgame in Aiken, Aiken County, South Carolina, September 4, 1987. Joseph was born in Pell City, Alabama December 18, 1925. Truck Stop Owner

Edith was divorced from Jesse Rickardo Hall November 1970. Edith was divorced from Almie Edward Smith 1986. She resides in Augusta, Georgia July 1999. From Jane: "I was a military wife, so we moved about every three years. After we left California most of our duty stations were in the South. Augusta being the last one, We were in Europe for two years during that time. " She was an "Executive Housekeeper", meaning she was in charge of large housekeeping departments.
