98. Bobby Edward5 Alsobrook (Henry Edward4, Robert Lee3, Ralph Capers2, William M. or S.1) was born Pittsburg, Camp County, Texas February 25, 1952.

He married Rosalyn Rutledge Daingerfield, Morris County, Texas, April 8, 1971. Married his high school sweetheart, Rosalyn Rutledge, in Daingerfield at 1101 Webb Street, in the home of Rosalyn's parents: Dr. and Mrs. L. E. Rutledge, ceremony performed by their Church of Christ preacher, Brother David Ingram. The couple honeymooned in Longview and at the family lake house on Lake O' the Pines.

Rosalyn was born Pilot Point, Denton County, Texas December 21, 1952. Rosalyn is the adopted daughter of Lowell Edison Rutledge (Dr., M.D.) and Christine Laura Sobey of Daingerfield, Texas. At less than two weeks of age Rosalyn was adopted in Texas on December 30, 1952. Rosalyn Alsobrook was born Dorothy Ellen Stickrod at the Rest Cottage in Pilot Point, Texas. Her adopted brother, Steven Rutledge, then age four, was born in the same unwed mother's home, also adopted as an infant. Rosalyn's biological parents are: Carole Ruth Stickrod (later Sanford) and Tom A. O___, Jr.. Her half siblings include: Tony Sanford, Shelly Sanford (Proshot), Sheila Sanford (Thomas), Lahoma, Chrisaundra, and Tom A. III. One half sibling, Gil, died young of cancer. In 1989, Rosalyn found her biological mother living in Wisconsin and, despite the miles separating them, they became close friends. She met her biological father not long after that while he was living in Florida. She has also met and is close to half siblings Tony, Shelly, and especially Sheila.

At 18 years of age Rosalyn became the mother of Andrew Edward Alsobrook in Lone Star, Morris County, Texas, October 27, 1971. Source: Rosalyn Alsobrook: Andrew was born at the Hospital in the Pines between Lone Star and Daingerfield with his own grandfather, Dr. L.E. Rutledge, M.D. as the doctor who delivered him.

She wrote a book in Gilmer, Texas; published, NY, NY., December, 1981. In fact, THORN BUSH BLOOMS was Rosalyn's first novel, and was followed by dozens more. She's written in several genres including Historical Romance, Contemporary Romance, Mainstream, and Paranormal. Source: Rosalyn Alsobrook. As of 1999, she has 29 published novels. Occupation: Rosalyn started out with office work for ABC Auto Parts out of Longview, and was later office manager for Bobby's Discount Auto Center and Garage, which she owned with her husband. (1977-1987). In 1979, while also working full time at the auto parts business, she began writing books, averaging a book a year. She didn't start writing full time until 1987, when they sold BDAC. After that, she averaged two books a year. In 1999, with 29 novels published, she received the Romance Writers of America 1999 Lifetime Achievement Award, which is the most prestigious award given by the organization of over 9000 authors. One LTA award is given each year and Rosalyn proudly joined a list that includes Sandra Brown, Nora Roberts, Anne Stuart, and Janet Dailey. In addition to her writing, Rosalyn has owned and operated a ceramic's business (1975), and currently (1999) designs and publishes web pages on the side. She's also served on various boards of various writing groups and civic organizations, and has spent many years on Gilmer's Planning and Zoning Committee. During her mother, Christine's five years of illnesses, which ended with her death in March, 2001, Rosalyn took a hiatus from writing. Her biological mother also fell ill during this time and she died in September, 2001. During the summer of 2001, Rosalyn began working four days a week for McKenzie Clinic in Gilmer, Texas, where the atmosphere reminds her of her father's clinic.

Bobby graduated Kilgore, Gregg County, Texas, 1974. Institution: Kilgore College. With an Associate in Business and was on the Dean's list all four semesters.

Anthony was born at Good Shepherd Hospital, delivered by Dr. Bianca. He was a few weeks early. Bobby's occupation has mostly been in auto parts. First a store manager for ABC Auto Parts out of Longview, then as an auto parts store owner (Bobby's Discount Auto Center & Garage), then as a territorial sales agent for different aftermarket auto parts manufacturers including Champion Rebuilt, Arrow Automotive, JASCO Automotive , and now BBB Industries, the company that bought out Ampere and JASCO. Bobby also restores old cars and enjoys living in the country with his wife and golden retriever, Lady Amber of Montaqua.
