Candied Apples

Ingredients

- 4 cups sugar

- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine

- 2 cups corn syrup

- 12 apples

- skewers

 

1.) Mix sugar, butter, and syrup in a kettle.

2.) Cook by constantly stirring until mixture spins a thread when tested.

3.) Place apples on skewers.

4.) Dip apples into syrup.

5.) Twirl apples in air until cooled.
