Apple Cobbler
Ingredients
- 4 cups apples sliced
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups biscuit mix (or pie crust mix)
- 2 8-inch pie pans
- wax paper
- foil
1.) Mix sugar and cinnamon with sliced apples.
2.) Cook in saucepan until tender.
3.) Place apples in pie pans.
4.) Prepare dough from biscuit or pie crust mix.
5.) Roll dough between two pieces of wax paper.
6.) Place a circle of dough on top of the pie filling.
7.) Set pie pan in the center of a sheet of foil, leaving leaving half exposed.
8.) Fold exposed foil on three edges over the pie pan forming a small oven.
9.) Set in coals.
10.) Turn pie within foil to brown evenly.
11.) Let bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
