This compact and lightweight unit enables remote iris adjustment of non-motorized cine style lenses from a video camera control setup and makes it easy for DPs and lighting directors to match multiple cameras on the sets of sitcoms and other TV programming. It also allows precise remote iris adjustment for fine tuning exposures in a more traditional film style production. STOPBOX self calibrates and gently positions the customer-supplied digitally-encoded motor. It supplies plenty of torque and remains very responsive to any small control movements for fine adjustments. It stands up to the rigors of daily on-set operation. The unit uses very little power, runs cool and supplies camera-accessory power via an aux port on the box. STOPBOX also offers color-coded LED feedback status and provides convenient VTR start/stop control. |
