Immune System

Hiding Yeast

Yeast is able to mask its presence from your immune system. At least one mechanism is known. When placed under stress of attack, yeast can burrow into living cells. The yeast is able to multiply inside your cells, completely unchallenged by your immune system. They multiply there until they are so numerous as to burst the cell open.
