INTRODUCTION

There are several good books written by clinicians for lay persons. Presented will be sort of a summary of the main or most common diagnostic indicators learned from those books. See the page titled "~~Books~~" for a bibliography (Not yet installed).

Note to the skeptical physician: A comment I have heard more than once is "I don't see how a yeast infection can cause such a wide range of symptoms." Please remember that a major component of this illness is the release of acetaldehyde, which is a major and very dangerous toxin. Because it can effect the Calcium Intracellular Messenger System, it can impact every cell in the body which must respond to external signals. (See "Why is there Such a Wide Range of Symptoms?" for a more complete discussion of this subject, and other causes of the wide range of symptoms.)

Brain

Headaches, migraine headache, sinus pressure and pain, vertigo, "disconnected from body" feeling, middle ear seems to not be functioning, difficulty finding common words, stupor, difficulty focusing eyes.

Mouth, Teeth, Throat

Oral Thrush, tooth ache, swollen esophagus (difficulty swallowing), sweet taste in mouth all the time, unusual redness of lips and adjacent skin, hellishly fast buildup of tooth plaque.

Face

Something like Rosacia, sore skin on forehead, redness of nose, and an increasing puffiness of nose, spider veins on cheeks.

Scalp

Soreness. Corrected by Nyserol shampoo or by soap containing Tee Tree Oil

GI Tract

Pain, cramps, alternating constipation and diarrhea, gas, vomiting, die-off symptoms whenever anything is ingested that is a strong killer of yeast (Nystatin, garlic, etc.)

Hands, feet, & nails

Redness, hard lumps around digit joints, ripples in finger/toe nails, destroyed cuticles, splitting skin over knuckles, fingers crocked from side to side, cuts which refuse to close.

Chemical sensitivities

Being around volatile chemicals produces bad headaches. Carpet cleaner, mothballs, powerful cleaning agents. Etc.

Vaginitis

Standard diagnosis for yeast infection

Ears

Redness of flaps, lesions on flaps, "white fluffy stuff" growing in cannel, white ear wax, hard lump in cannel flesh, Cochlear hydrops (does not respond to normal treatment), cacophony, tinnitus, degraded cartilage, stabbing pain deep in the ear.

Rashes

Discoid rash following strong treatment for yeast, dark spots left after the rash.

Liver

"Hypoglycemia" while gaining weight (Probably disruption of the glycogen cycle.) Caused by fibrosis produced by acetaldehyde effects on the fat cells of the liver. (Also see Chemical Sensitivities, above.)

Rapid onset calf Cramping

Recumbent calf cramps. Prevented by supplementing with potassium.

Medium fast onset muscle cramping

Cramping of skeletal muscles while at rest. Prevented by supplementing with Magnesium.

Slow onset muscle cramping

After muscles have received a good workout. Relieved by taking 100% USDA of calcium.

Smooth muscle problems

Lack of muscle tone of sphincter muscles (hemorrhoids, mild urinary incontinence). Major dilation of veins of hands or feet. Tachycardia (due to widespread venous dilation caused by acetaldehyde disrupting the Calcium Intracellular Messenger System.)
