Unless your are doing a Phrase Search, use only meaningful KEY WORDS, like teen, lesson, wisdom, parents, motivation, skills, thinking, etc. - - - Don't include words like the, of, and, etc.
Do not use question marks.
They have a special meaning to the search
engine, and will confuse it if used in a search.
WILD CARD
SEARCHES
The asterisk (*) is called a Wild Card. If you enter this search,
grade*
the engine will find all files which contain any word of the form "Grade..."
PHRASE
SEARCHES
Search-text which is surrounded by quote marks defines a phrase. The search engine will find only that EXACT phrase. If you know the exact wording, such as the title of an essay, enter that phrase.
Example: "Why is There So Much Conflict Between Teenagers and Their Parents"
"Why is There So Much Conflict Between Teenagers and Their Parents?" will fail. Leave off the question mark. That works.
MULTIPLE
SEARCHES
Let's say you want to find anything about the 6th grade. Type this into the search box:
"grade 6" "grade six" "6th grade*" "sixth grade*"
These are four Phase Searches. Two of them contain Wild Cards
The search engine will do a search for any page which contains at least one of these for phrase. It will find wild card variations, such as sixth grade, sixth grader, sixth graders, & sixth grader's.
If you don't find what you want, take the link "Return to my
site's Entry Point" at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: Moving around in the search entry window is easier using
the Arrow Keys.
