It has been repeatedly shown that children do better in school when their parents are invested in their success. When it comes to Personhood and Motivation, several scenarios need to be addressed.
I want to include it in my
teaching. I want to teach it myself. I want to coordinate with the school's
program. How do I work towards that
goal?

This material is just plain common sense. Read over the material provided. It should be pretty obvious what it is all about! Teach it to your student(s). Review from time to time to be sure they still understand it, and that they are learning to apply it!

If you are feeling that you might "mess up," then do this. Before starting the project, sit with your student and just plain tell him the truth! Something like this...
Johnny (Judy) I have read about something that makes a lot of sense to me. It is something that can make your life easier, and lead you to become an awesome person. It is not being taught in your school. I want to teach it to you. It won't take a lot of time.

Reward your student after he has made a good faith effort. Do something together, like going out for special ice iream desserts.
Ask your school to publish the lesson plans and teaching schedule on their web site. OR: Try to obtain the personhood teaching schedule and subject matter for your student's class. Follow it along. After a lesson, ask your student to tell you:
If your school does not have a Personhood and Motivation program, then start asking them to consider teaching these lessons to all students. Remember, when most of your student's peers are doing the same thing, and behaving the same way, there is a powerful force for everyone to do that also.
If you are so inclined and available, you could even approach the school and volunteer to be the teacher! Read the page Message to School Administrators.
In either case, give them the WEB address for this site, so they can see what it is all about.
