Blythe is the commercial center of Southeastern California's Palo Verde Valley. We're an isolated, but centrally located,
community. The closest town of any size is Indio, about one-hundred miles west. The I-10 Freeway goes through Blythe on an
east/west axis, and the scenic Colorado River flows gently through our valley from north to south. There are six off-ramps,
either in Blythe, or adjacent to it. Because of our unique location, about midway between Los Angeles, California and Phoenix,
Arizona, most of the over nine million cars passing through Blythe each year stop here. Two other highways also impact our
community. Blythe is the northern terminus of State Highway 78 from Oceanside, near San Diego, and US Highway 95, from Las
Vegas and the Canadian border also ends here.
If you're planning to start a new business, change the location of an existing one, or if you're just considering a personal
relocation, think of Blythe. Real estate and living costs are reasonable here, and we're in the NAFTA trade zone. You could
be doing business with friendly customers in a very profitable market, and spending your weekends hunting, fishing, or just
enjoying the scenery along the beautiful Colorado River.
