Blues guitar master, Smokin' Joe Sciallo. There is another slow blues in town! Smokin' Joe is more than just a blues guitar torch bearer in the lineage of T-Bone Walker, Johnny Guitar Watson and Muddy Waters. He brings freshness, energy and a new direction to the blues guitar tradition.

To get some idea of where Smokin' Joe Sciallo is coming from on the guitar, most of the blues albums he owns were recorded before he was born. Ask him to play some Buddy Guy and he'll quote something from the Buddy and Junior days. Call out for Albert Collins and he'll go back to when Albert played with Jimmy McGriff.

But you won't hear reused and cliched blues licks, note-for-note-off-the-record either. Smokin' Joe gets the blues tradition up in him, so the blues guitar you hear is the blues of Joe Sciallo.

At the same time energetic and understated, Joe will rip the tile off the floor and draw his audience to his stage in the same slow blues.
