WOW, I guess a second awards page is necessary!

Here are some historical photographs from around our valley. Most have been borrowed from the Palo Verde Valley Historical Museum, and they give some indication of how we grew and developed here. The Palo Verde Valley is unique in that the pioneering activites took place well under a century ago. In fact when I moved into the valley in 1960, many of the original settlers were very much alive! A click on any of these pictures will result in magnifying the photo. All of these images have been crunched, but black and white photographs aren't as responsive to that type of program as color pix. Thanks for your patience while they load.
