SYNOPSIS
"SHOCKING SUMMER'
(Second Book – “Hot Studs in Construction” Series)
What do a lady cop and a hog-riding electrician have in common?
Could be it’s the biggest scandal the small New Jersey shore town has ever known.
When “Pistol” Pete Plummer roared into Pleasure Park on his Harley Davidson, he was looking for a weekend
of sun, sand, fun, and sex – without any complications. What he found was Joyce Catherine Winters, a rookie cop working
undercover as an erotic dancer/stripper in one of the boardwalk’s “men’s
clubs.” Male fantasies -- fostered by a very active libido has Pete’s head doing tailspins -- blown out of the
saltwater by the leggy blond riding a feisty attitude.
J.C. Winters has been sent into Hot Tamales as bait to discover and collar what appears to be one or more malicious,
perverted predators. One cut his initials on the butt of a dancer from that club, and possibly, another strangled a second
stripper in a different location.
Or had a single perp committed both crimes? Detective Lt. Trask Holmes hadn’t a clue.
The initial attraction between J.C. and Pete has been electric – opening like a summer storm -- showering thunder
and lightning on several sultry long weekends until their breakup came out of a hot, clear, blue sky.
Will Labor Day, the traditional end of summer, with a change in the season, and the 300+ miles between where
each lives and works destroy their tentative relationship?
