Barbara's LUCKY DAWGS
I have trained my dogs over twenty five years. During this time I have
had numerous requests to teach dog training. I have given private lessons sporadically over the past five years.
Today I have broaden my horizons and began teaching privately and in groups in the Burkburnett - Wichita Falls,
Texas area. I have changed my teaching strategy over the years and truly enjoy the positive, operant conditioning (clicker),
and the positive results I receive from my dog's view point. I have used the positive training (clicker) and can see the positive
results quicker than with the old traditional pull & jerk method. I want my dogs to enjoy working /being with me and not
shy away from coming to me. Clicker training can be used in a variety of sports to include, but not limited to:
basic obedience, agility, rally, conformation, tracking, canine good citizen, and the list can go on.
I currently clicker train and show my own dogs in a variety of events. If you would like to have a better relationship with your canine companion consider training
the positive way.
