The Wind Turbine Studies series is not intended to be a political statement in support of the envinronmental movement. It is instead a study of shape, form, motion and color set in the night landscape, much like other motion studies presented on this web site. Linear and sinuous, angular and bulbous, the forms are populated upon the golden hills and desert sand of semi-rural California much like any other work of man. But they are fascinating devices, both in present reality and in conception, and I cannot get near one without wanting to aim a camera at it. I'm not entirely sure why that is, but I hope you enjoy the results.
