Rodolphe's boss, Ken Clark, and the firm of Wilson Sonsini, 
have graciously established a formal Trust--The Gelly Family Fund--to accept contributions.

The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance to Rudy, Julian and Sophie, to cover both short-term and longer-term needs.

Fortunately, Rudy does have some long-term disability insurance through the firm. However the disability insurance is not enough to maintain the standard of living that they had before the accident, 
and certainly not what he had expected to achieve in the future.

Wilson-Sonsini raised about $40,000 so far, but are already tapping into the  fund to help cover immediate expenses for which the disability income is insufficient. So, there's definitely a financial need.
