Golden Bear is a non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to an improved knowledge of parliamentary procedure.
Parliamentary procedure is is the best method of conducting meetings expeditiously, while preserving the rights of a minority to be heard and a majority to prevail.
As a chapter of the American Institute of Parliamentarians, Golden Bear recognizes and studies a number of parliamentary authorities. The three main ones are Roberts (RONR), Sturgis and Demeter.
