Report a Catch

   To report a shark or ray catch or tagged shark or ray make sure to include as much of the following information as you can.

   Tag number (see tag information page).

   Species (see shark and ray identification charts).

   Date, time and location of the catch. If you can, also try to include the length, weight and sex of the shark or ray (see sex identification page).

    The average number of fishing poles being used to fish for sharks and rays within your sight (not more than 40 yards away).

   The amount of time you spent at the location before the shark or ray was caught.

   Please also remember to include your name and a phone number where we can contact you.
