Gary and I picked Mike up from work on Friday and began our road trip. At every intersection the options for our destination narrowed (Mike didn't know where he was being taken). We arrived at Kings Canyon about 8:30 and headed for Cedar Grove.
There are 7 campgrounds in the park we ended up at the very last one. It was maybe half full. There are lots of trails heading out of the valley. Several are short (and I do mean short). The longest hike we did was to Mist Falls (9 mile RT).
