| Hi my name is Victorie Kinder. I manage
Crossroads. I think the site is great. The memorial and reception went very well. Shelby would have hated the fuss but loved the spirit in which it was done. I will be passing on the site to my friends. Thanks, Victorie VJL864<at>aol.com |
Dear Bill, Another of Sandy/Shelby's nieces here, just wanted to thank you for the chance to see the pictures. I wish I could have been there. My mom (Sarah) was so grateful and touched that he had such a strong community around him. Where ever he is now, I'm sure he feels loved. Jessica Goff jessica.goff<at>emid6067.net |
| Bill, thanks for the pictures. They are
terrific. But more than that, so much more, thank you for being his
friend for so many years. Your support and love, along with that of his
friends (family) in Waxhaw, often kept Sandy afloat when he was unable
to both steer the boat and bail the water in front of those trecherous
falls he sometimes encountered. The love for Shelby and the kindness
expressed toward his biological family in Waxhaw this past weekend was
actually palpable. I was transformed by my experience - proud of Shelby,
grateful for all that was done for him, but mostly just so happy that he
has been surrounded by people of such heart. Thank you. Mary Alexander |
