1. DOMA is
repealed and same-sex marriage becomes the law of the land. State laws or Constitutions
defining marriage as only between one man and one woman will be trumped by the full faith and credit clause of the US Constitution. While states will not be forced to actually perform marriages, they will be forced
to recognize marriages from other states as valid.
2. The ugly gun ban will become law, and there will
be many other nuisance laws aimed at making it harder and more expensive to own, fire, sell, a gun or ammunition. None of these will make any difference in crime except robbery will go up and burglary down as a less armed
citizenry empowers criminals to attack people because they are less afraid of getting shot.
1-17-09- it starts; no action yet, but the first bill to attack lawful gun owners. HR 45 requires
licenses to buy sell or own any handgun or and long gun that accepts a detachable magazine. That means many deer rifles
and even a few shotguns. Requires Photo ID, thumbprint, a fee, renewal every 5 years, and sets up any failure to follow
all the papertrail hoops for a felony, and of course never owning a gun again.
3. The rate of corporate HQ’s fleeing America
will double to avoid increased taxes. The assault begins with Obama's vow on 5-3-09
to double-tax profits made on foreign soil to the tune of $210 billion per year. The answer will be to make the US company
the subsidiary and move the corporation offshore.
4. Unemployment will reach 10%. Actual jobs as measured by the August 2012 household survey will end up dead even
with the August 2008 survey.
1-16-08- some will ask why not 1-09 vs. 1-12? Because 8-08 and 8-12 are the last figures
available before the election.
5. “Rich” people will find other hidden
and illegal ways to acquire their money and to hide their money.

After one year of frenzied raising taxes, US revenues will go down by 10%. Let’s compare 2006-2008 against
2010-2012 (after the fact).
7. 7. The Union Goon anti vote bill will pass, and by 2012, Obama’s
tax policies and Union featherbedding will combine to drive Ford-Chrysler-GM to the brink of extinction. Their combined market share will drop to less than 33%. As
a reference, they were at 46% for August, 2008. 5-5-09- Chrysler is at the brink,
GM is on track, but Ford is swimming upstream just a hair faster than the current. As for Market share, still 46%, mostly
due to the foreign segment tanking even worse the last couple months. May also have to switch Chryler to the foreign
sector soon. 6-2-09- still at 46%, but with Chrysler going foreign, Ford selling
Volvo, and GM selling Saab and Hummer, we could be at 35% in July.
8. By the end
of a 1st term, trade protection laws passed by Obama and friends will cause clothing prices to increase at triple
the inflation rate, which will be about 4% his first year and 7% his last year. Total
inflation over 4 years will be 20%, so clothes will go up 60%
9. The deficit will actually average 600B a year for 2009-2012.
1-16-09- looking good for 2009; I have seen predicitons from as low as $800B to as high as $1.5 TRILLION!
3-3-09- now we are up to 1.75 TRILLION, and it is quite possible that every year will be larger than the previous record deficit,
and that his lowest deficit will be more than thw $600B I predicted for an average.
10. 10. The percentage of Americans
paying net zero income taxes will increase to over 50%, and the percentage of Americans paying net zero taxes period will
increase to 33%.
11. At least three liberal Supreme Court judges will retire in his first year to assure confirmation of
new liberal activist legislators judges before the Senate reverts to about 50-50 in the 2010
elections. 5-5-09- One down; Souter is quitting. Quota-man is looking for a minority woman
to satisfy his racist diversity supporters. 6-2-09-

12. By 2016 there will not be a single manufacturing company left in the US doing 10 billion annual US manufacturing that is unionized. All such companies will either die, leave the country, or find some way to restructure
to get out from under the competitive disadvantage union featherbedding and especially legacy costs bring.
13. Iraq will be worse than today, maybe in full blown civil war.
Iran will have its first nuclear weapon. Israel will be suffering more
terrorist attacks than ever. China will have the capability to take out all of
our civilian and military satellites, and we will have no response. Our missile
defense program will have died, and we will be vulnerable to attacks from China and Russia due to our decreased response capability. The military will be at a nadir not seen since Carter.
Retention of military personnel will be cut in half by 2011. At least
4 new hotspots of Muslim terrorism will erupt around the edges of the “Caliphate”.
Georgia will be absorbed by Russia, and we will do nothing except scream at the UN.
Our contributions to the UN will go up, it’s anti-US stances will increase, and it will
accomplish even less in the world than it does now. That means it will actually
start putting more people under dictatorships and suffering human rights violations, because right now, AT BEST, it breaks
even, so the only way to get worse is to become an active negative force (if it isn’t already).
14. Referring back to number 12, energy costs in the US will rise by 40% over
his 1st four years, helping to cause the collapse of manufacturing in America.
This will also cause food prices to rise at 2.5 times the rate of inflation.
15. Home values will do no better than stay flat while he is president.
The only exception will be where artificial restrictions apply on building outside the edges of some cities such as
exists in Seattle.
1-16-08- I just realized this one will be hard to prove, because the stats that are easy to
find are for home sales, not values, and those are skewed for both 12-08 and 1-09 by the sale of many foreclosures, not really
effecting the true value of all homes, just the most depressed.
16. Illegal immigration will subside slightly for 2 reasons. First, there will
be less desire to come here because of the lack of jobs. Second, so many loopholes
will be created by Congress, it will difficult to actually obtain illegal status. 6-2-09-
net illegal immigration from Mexico has slowed to a trickle due to the economic conditions. No official progress on
amnesty yet; probably slated for the dead of night-no amendments-no filibuster gang rape tactics of Narry Reidlosi
17. The partial birth abortion ban will be repealed, and numerous other provisions will be codified such
as: barring all laws requiring parental notification, requiring all new doctors
to agree to the abortion as a pre-requisite to graduating from medical school, attempts to yank the license of any physician or nurse who refuses to participate in the dead baby factory, denial of Medicare payments
for any treatment if a clinic refuses to do abortions. 3-3-09- looks like all but the 1st two
are already in the works!
18. Re-institution of the “Fairness Doctrine”, with instant suits against all conservative
talk radio. This will be a complete mess, because talk radio has the money to
fight back with complaints against virtually all mainstream media, and will also instantly retaliate with complaints against
them. In the end, it will swamp the courts, waste billions of dollars both Federal
and private, and end up being scrapped as a truly bad idea. 5-5-09- looks like the
1st round is going to be a backdoor approach; requiring local ownership of radio stations, local service broadcasting, etc.
All of this under threat of yanking the license. Censorship, pure and simple.
19. "Affirmative action" (discrimination against whites) for college admissions, hiring, and graduation
rates will become the law of the land. There will be hundreds of totally inept lawyers, doctors, and every other profession,
of people of color pushed through this system. That will result in thousands of lawsuits by those who were
actually better qualified and were denied access or not given the degrees or job. 5-5-09-
on a related tack, he is pushing free college for everybody. In the end, a 4 year degree will be just as useful as today's
GED, but we will have to pay for four more years at many more thousands of tax dollars each to fund.
20. Obama will never catch Bin Laden BECAUSE HE IS DEAD! He has been since early Afghanistan.
No video, only audio for 6+ years? BS. If he was alive, we would see many videos of him in poses
and situations that prove he is alive. There is no way his ego would allow him to hide this long. Instead,
all we get is scratchy audiotapes that some spook "verifies" is Bin Laden by voiceprints. 5-5-09- Looking better each day; still no definitive proof he is alive. 6-2-09-
