Land Surveying, Engineering & G.I.S. Freelance Drafting Terms of Service.

I charge a flat $20.00 per hour fee for all Land Surveying and Engineering related drafting services.  $30.00 per hour for all Computational services.  $50.00 per hour fee for all Geographic Information Systems services.

• Engineers and Land Surveyors:  If you expect your drawings to be ready to insert into your title blocks you must provide me with the following:

• Pen table including a sample of the line weights associated with your pen table.

• Ascii file for all construction and boundary computations (if any exists).

• Any standard blocks your company uses in your drawings.

• Drawing specs (what is this project for / related to).

• Design specs.

• Desired sheet size.

• Names of adjoining property owners and any other information required to be shown about adjoiner information required by your state's regulations.

• Type of project.

• Any other information pertinent to the project.

In other words, you are responsible for insuring that I have all the necessary information for me to complete any drawings for your company just as you would for your regular employees. I only take responsibility for the information you supply.

No refund will be provided if you fail to insure that I have the necessary information for the project at hand.

I assume no legal responsibility for any damages suffered by your organization.  It is up to you (the entity ordering my services) to see that all drawings comply with your state's regulations, that my drawings meet your clients' needs and that my drawings meet your needs.

I am prepared to make up to two revisions to any drawings I submit to you to satisfy your needs.  Beyond that, regular hourly fees apply.
