My Qualifications:
I have seventeen years experience in the Land
Surveying and Engineering industries.
I started out on a drafting board like most
of you reading this, moved on to C&G CAD, then to PC Survey, then to AutoCAD Land Desk Top R2, 2000 and later 2005.
I am also, highly experience with ArcView.
I cut my teeth on ArcGIS 3.0, moved on to ArcView 8.0, 8.3 and I currently use ArcView 9.0.
I am certified in Engineering Technologies.
I am certified in AutoCAD 2000, 2004 and 2006.
I am certified in Geographic Information Systems.
I am currently one class short of receiving my Associates Degree in Geomatics (Physics 201 is my only remaining degree
requirement).
Land Surveying Experience:
I have an extensive background in rural, residential and industrial surveying.
My experience includes boundary location, computing and setting missing property corners, mortgage surveys, A.L.T.A. surveys,
topographic surveys and subdivision layout and design. I also, have and extensive background in construction stake out
for roads, power lines, storm drains, sanitary sewer, creek / stream relocation, dams, building layout and many other types
of construction staking projects.
I have 15 years experience as Party Chief
working for Land Surveying firms.
I am fully familiar with field practices and computations of missing property
corners.
I have a great deal of experience reviewing job specs., planning field work and cost estimation.
I have an excelent working knowledge of coordinate
geometry.
Engineering Related Experience:
I have an extensive background in boundary
computation, lot design and layout for subdivisions, construction layout / point computation for projects such as road design,
storm drain design, sanitary sewer design, creek relocation projects, building layout and interior design of facilities such
as water treatment plants.
Drafting and Computational Experience:
I have an extensive background in the use
of AutoCAD Land Desk Top 2000 - 2005 (Civil Design and PipeWorks) in the preparation of boundary plats, mortgage plats,
A.L.T.A. plats, topographic plats, subdivision plats (preliminary and final), construction layout and design (road design,
storm drain design, sanitary sewer design, lot layout, etc.) and Engineering drawings as well as "field drawings" for use
by field personnel during the construction layout process.
I have an extensive background in computing
design points for missing boundary markers and all aspects of construction layout and design
Geographic Information Systems:
I am certified in G.I.S. I have extensive
experience with Arcview 9.0. I have experience in projects such as storm water runoff analysis, soil analysis, demographic
studies, population density studies, forestry studies and many other types of analsysis.
