The first steps were to start stripping parts off the Vette. The interior came out, then everything that connected the body to the frame.

On 10 May 2003, we lifted the body off the frame.
The frame was pulled out from under the body.
The body was placed on the body dolly.
I retired the rear bumper cover for several reasons. It now houses the light for the workbench. Just under the light is a set of finned aluminum Corvette valve covers, a set of 427 chrome valve covers & a set of Gen V 454 valve covers.
